I came to Canada in 1998 from Ukraine.Since then I worked hard without even taking any vacation.I thought that working hard is the RIGHT way to build your future.I started with $6.00 working on the conveyor and went up to $25.00 as a maintenance mechanic.Yes,I did buy a car,not even one(all of them were 10+ years old),house(still paying mortgage)…other things.And still I had to go for work every day to afford it and I had only 2 weeks vacation which I couldn’t take in the time I wanted—RAT RACE ,familiar,isn’t it?What to do?How to get rid of the RAT RACE?

I started educate myself and came to expression “The only way things are going to change for you is when you change” and”Profits are better than wages”

So actually everyone has two choices:

1) Work hard, start your own business,grow it into a great enterprise,and achieve financial independence, or 2) Stay where you are and hope the government has enough money to dole a little bit to you each month?
I wanted to be a financial independent,so I decided to open “Brick and Mortal” mechanical business.I re mortgaged my house and invest into business.And what?I did survive for more than 2 years working since morning till evening in my shop and than go back to bakery for night shift.I slept no more than 4 hours a day 5-6 days a week.Sometimes I didn’t see my wife for 3 days,cause I slept in the shop.The reason was very obvious:my business only gave me enough to cover my overhead:rent,gas,truck payment,insurance….It was really the worst period of my life.I felt myself overtired,my relationship with wife was on the edge,I was near to close my business.Finally since the beginning 2008 my business started to grow and in 4 months I left bakery and fully concentrated on my business.For a while things were going pretty good,but since September started getting worse.And again I came to point that must be another way to do business,business without overhead(rent,insurance,hydro…).Why don’t do business from your own HOME?In this case I don’t have to pay any rent,business insurance,hydro,telephone…HUGE savings.Besides that you can also deduct many your home expenses such as Mortgage,Hydro,Telephone,Internet…So one of the strategies to be wealthy is to cut down your expenses.So,HOME BUSINESS idea is PERFECT.So then I’ve faced next problem:What kind of HOME BUSINESS should I do?

In October 2008 a friend of mine introduce me to Quixtar/Amway.I’ve got really excited about their idea.I saw people who were very successful in this business.I asked my mentor what is the secret to be successful? He answered:”Bring people to the meetings as much as possible.” (More LEADS—-More SALES) I started to build my down line and of cause I started with my relatives,friends first(Familiar,isn’t it?).Soon I realized that this strategy doesn’t work at all.My relatives and friends began perceive me as if I wanted to sell on them,and our relationship began getting worse,so I gave up on that idea.Then I started with all my cold contacts:coworkers,neighbors,acquaintances.But another problem came up.You must spend a lot of your personal time after work(I consider my brick and mortal business as regular work) to drive here and there to meet people,most of them are tire-kickers(if you still buying leads and then call them—same picture).Soon I realized that I ran out of all my contacts.So I spent lots of my own time after work,on weekends and result? ONLY 1 Rep.I even don’t want to count money I spent for samples,catalogs,gas…Not a decent reword for all my affords at all.What’s next?
